Takashi KOBAYASHI is an associate professor in Department of Information Engineering, Graduate School of Information Science, Nagoya University. His research interests include software patterns and architecture, software development method, software configuration management, Web-services compositions, workflow, multimedia information retrieval and data mining. He received a B.Eng, M.Eng. and Dr.Eng degrees in computer science from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1997, 1999 and 2004 respectively. He's a member of the ACM, IEEE-CS, Information Processing Society of Japan (IPSJ), Japan Society for Software Science and Technology(JSSST), Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers(IEICE) and The Database Society of Japan(DBSJ).
